If you haven’t yet, maybe it’s because you’re working too hard to lose weight.

That was me for 10 years…

The whole time I was trying to lose weight I was busy

Too busy:

  • counting calories
  • skipping meals
  • & exercising

…to think about anything else.

I was too hungry to think about anything else!

And every time I ate something I regretted—even a tiny bite, I thought I ruined EVERYTHING.

So I’d instantly be “off” my ultra-low-fat diet

…and eat waaay too much.

Like if I ate one raisin off the top of a bran muffin (because I was starving after days of hardly eating anything) I’d make myself restart my diet tomorrow.

Then I’d say the rest of the day didn’t count—and end up eating a 6-pack of raisin bran muffins—and more.

There was no in-between.

I was all or nothing.

Eventually, this pattern included purging

Either by doing extra exercise or forcing myself to be sick.

I was pretending everything was “Great!” because I didn’t want anyone to worry about me.

After I’d find a way to punish myself.

And then start a new diet.

I was always absolutely certain my *new* diet was the one—the one that would fix everything.

All of this was of course before I ate the big, beautiful meals found in my (drum roll!):

ONE DAY Meal Plan!

Meals packed with nutrients so I have TONS of energy!

Meals made of regular food so I can eat what everyone else eats!

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners that unlocked my HAPPY weight 23+ years ago.

Meals that are so simple to make and so satisfying to eat, that I could get on with my life and find out who I was when I wasn’t counting cals, over-exercising and regretting what I ate.

Meals like these!

The day I stopped dieting

But one morning I woke up, after doing something extreme to draw a dramatic line in the sand… and instead of thinking:

“Today’s the day!”

(Like I usually did.)

I just felt flat.

For the first time I knew N-O-T-H-I-N-G would be different if I started a new diet

And I thought:

 I have no idea what to do next.

It took years for me to get to that point.

Many pounds lost and regained. And tons of missed opportunities with school, sports and all the social stuff I loved.

But when I look back now, I realize that empty feeling I woke up with was a shift—a huge, important shift happening in my life.


…that I was open to try something completely different.

And guess what?!

When I tried something super easy (my ONE DAY Meal Plan)

…And started being kind to my body (both felt sooo wrong after years of obsessive dieting), not only did I lose all the weight, I could actually:

  • enjoy grabbing a coffee with friends at my local coffee shop “Manhattans” (in the middle of London, England)
  • give 100% of my attention to the Gr. 5 kids I was teaching and loved near Angel Station in Islington
  • & have spare time to browse 2nd hand stores on Kings Road in Chelsea – where I could pick up really cool clothing for just a few quid (that’s slang for pounds)

…rather than be preoccupied by hunger, worried about what I ate or distracted by what I should or shouldn’t eat.

Finally I felt FREE when I started eating meals like the ones on my ONE DAY Meal Plan

Looking back, I realize that if things hadn’t gotten so bad I could have become a chronic dieter.

But because dieting had so completely disrupted my life, I had to get to the bottom of how to reach a healthy weight and make food a non-issue; the same information you need whether you want to lose 5 pounds or break the starve-binge-purge cycle.
