  • count every calorie and prefer eating food with nutrition labels
  • say NO to cake at a birthday party
  • feel like you ruined your diet if you eat white bread instead of brown

I was so lost in the vicious cycle of STARVING, BINGEING and PURGING, that I started skipping class, cancelling anything social and dropping out of the sports I love.

And I was so uncomfortable in my body that I wore black clothing that hung over my butt to hide the extra 30 pounds I GAINED while trying to lose weight.

For 10 years I yo-yo dieted & I also binged and purged.

Then one day…

I was sitting in a park in London, England. I was almost finished teacher’s college and thinking about the DECADE I’d spent preoccupied by dieting and all the opportunities I’d missed.

But this thought upset me the most:
I'll never become who I want to be if I waste my life trying to lose weight

I was FINALLY ready to take an ENTIRELY different approach.

So I simplified everything—eating, exercising and what I did if I thought I ate too much.

IMMEDIATELY I stopped bingeing and purging (and I NEVER have since).And within weeks, I lost weight.
